The Opportunity
Alpha Cybershield is seeking a Cyber Security Professional to join our growing team. You'll work on challenging security projects, help defend against advanced threats, and contribute to a safer digital future for our clients.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a cyber security or SOC role
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and cloud security tools (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and application security principles
- Experience with incident response and threat analysis
- Scripting skills (Python or PowerShell) are a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Azure Security, CISSP) are valued
Core Responsibilities
Cloud-Native Microservices & Serverless Security
- Monitor and respond to security alerts across cloud and on-prem environments
- Deploy and manage security controls in Azure and Microsoft 365
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation
Azure Automation & Secure Infrastructure
- Automate security monitoring and reporting using Python or PowerShell
- Support security operations with custom scripts and playbooks
DevSecOps, CI/CD & Cloud Governance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Help develop and enforce security policies and best practices
